Second Saturday Game Day

One of our regular programs out of the St. Ben’s Community Meal site is our Second Saturday Game Day. Every month we open our doors on the weekend and invite our guests to recreate; usually with board and card games and occasionally with a movie. We also do a Women’s Day in October. Bonnie McMahon, who has been a faithful coordinator of the program for years, has finally decided that it’s time to take it a little easy and to let someone else take care of the program. We’re very grateful to her for her years of service and we’re glad she’ll continue to be a presence with us, bringing her yeas of experience to help the new coordinators.

I Remember

I love to talk about things that are meaningful to me. I pray that you will find them interesting as well. Lately, a lot of memories have been on my mind and have touched my heart regarding the house of peace and my mentor, Br. Booker Ashe. January is the anniversary month of his birth, and the anniversary of my start date. Allow me to share a few of my memories.
