The weather is turning right before our eyes, and we all know that the colder months are toughest on those who experience homelessness. We want to thank the Milwaukee Area Labor Council for organizing a sock drive and collecting warm, winter socks! Items like warm socks, gloves, hats, coats, and warm layers are so needed and appreciated this time of year, thank you!

Want to learn more about starting your own drive? Head to the link in our bio and click "Warm Winter Drive."
We want to give a special shout out to St. Monica Parish and Fr. John Schmeckel for supporting our ministry! St. Monica's parishioners raised money to put towards our services. Fr. John came down to both sites, House of Peace and St. Ben’s for a tour with Site Director, Linda Barnes and Ministry Director, Br. Henryk. Thank you, St. Monica!
Happy Friday! Ms. Faye is getting the Bread and Vegetable Table ready. We keep this table stocked with bread, veggies, fruit, and more. It's available to anyone that walks through the House of Peace doors. We hope to see you today! ☀️ 🍂
Hi everyone! Right now is a great time to start collecting warm winter clothes and items before the temperatures drop. Do you think you could help us by collecting new or gently-loved winter coats, hats, gloves, sweaters, blankets, or sleeping bags? These items are vital for our guests during the colder months, especially if they’re experiencing homelessness. Thank you for all that you do to support us!

Already have items that you’d like to drop off? You can bring them to the House of Peace at 1702 W. Walnut St., Milwaukee 53205 between 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. If you need these items picked up, we can do that! Give us a call at (414) 933-1300 to schedule a good time. You can find more information by visiting the link in our bio and selecting "Warm Winter Drive."
