One mission. Two locations. Learn more about us.
The House of Peace provides food, clothing and other assistance to individuals and families.
An open door serving people experiencing homelessness and hunger since 1968.
Volunteers are key to Capuchin Community Services and the outreach at the House of Peace and St. Ben’s Community Meal. You or your organization can get involved today by searching for an available volunteer opportunity.
Volunteer with Capuchin Community ServicesIn-kind donations of clean and gently used clothing, unexpired nonperishables or other items are welcome. Unlike some other non-profits, donated items are not re-sold. They go directly to those who need them most.
In-kind donationsOur guests need gloves, scarves, hats and other winter clothes to stay warm this winter. Many of our Capuchin Community Services’ guests are not sufficiently dressed to ward off the cold of Wisconsin’s cold winters. And many of our children stand on the bus stop without hats and mittens. Can you help us with our Warm Winter Drive?
Capuchins give priority in their ministries to the two loves of St. Francis’ life:
Serving the poor and preaching the Gospel.
