Help with life’s challenges

Need help with life’s challenges beyond food and clothing? Social workers are helpers who work with people and groups to make their lives better. They can help with many problems, like not having enough food, clothes, or money, being hurt by someone, feeling sad or angry, or not having a job. Social workers can also help people get referred to other helpers outside if they need more help.

Our sites have social workers who can talk to you and help you find what you need. They are friendly and caring. They work at both places where we have food and other services for you, St. Ben’s and the House of Peace. You can ask them any questions, and they will try to help you. We are all committed to changing the world with Christ’s love, like the Capuchin Franciscan brothers who lead the ministry.

Men’s Turnaround Group

The mission of the Men’s Turnaround Group is to support the cultural, academic, professional, personal, and social development of all men. We seek to increase unity among men through support, empowerment and networking. Meetings are held every Thursday, discussing a range of topics from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
