Saint Ben’s Community Meal, a ministry of Capuchin Community Services, is re-starting take-away dinners at the Saint Ben’s Meal Hall beginning Wednesday, January 5, 2022. After consultation with the Milwaukee Health Department, indoor dining is suspended until the Omicron COVID-19 wave subsides.
Our 60+ Community Meal sponsor groups will continue to bring the prepared foods which CCS staff will plate and distribute: hot, healthy dinners to anyone who comes to the site Sundays through Thursdays from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Takeaway lunches are offered Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In suspending indoor meal service, CCS is trying to prevent the additional spread of Omicron. We are also hoping to avoid adding pressure to an already strained health care system.
