Works of Mercy Opportunities

Students can perform Works of Mercy and assist the Capuchin Franciscans in their ministry to people struggling with challenging circumstances. We can provide materials for a drive at your parish or you can bring students to one of our sites to serve. Capuchin Community Services two sites are:

House of Peace	St. Ben's Community Meal

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm	Sunday to Friday 4pm to 7pm
	Saturdays we offer mid-day meal hall cleaning opportunities.

Works of Mercy Service Opportunities

Holiday Food Box Drive or Emergency Food Pantry Drive	Your parish	Boxes, flyers, shopping lists and speakers. Friars available to lead blessings and offer Eucharist.
Christmas Toy Drive	Your parish	Boxes, flyers, shopping lists and speakers. Friars available to lead blessings and offer Eucharist.
Hygiene Bag Drive	Your parish	Boxes, flyers, shopping lists and speakers. Friars available to lead blessings and offer Eucharist.
Justice Peace Orientation	St. Ben's Community Meal	Friar to facilitate learning experience for your students. After orientation your students will eat with our homeless guests and then meet to review their learning. Prayer service included.
Sort and shelve	House of Peace	Staff will orient your students. They will sort food, clothing or hygiene items. Then they will shelve same for access by our guests. Prayer service included.
