More than a Meal

Sb 14-1 St. Ben’s Community Meal serves a hot meal six nights a week. Called the “Community Meal,” because all are welcome, and people come from all walks of life to eat as well as serve. Tonight we had a group from Watertown serving on the floor, and many others from the Milwaukee area serving the meal too.

Give the gift of a smile. Give a gift that will make a difference to those that you are encountering.

Fun Fall Activities

Fall1 The last month has been spectacular in regards to all the fun activities that have been going on. The Postulants at St. Conrads got to see the Dreamgirls in live action in the original Broadway Musical, and Cap Corps was also invited to attend their pumpkin carving contest which was a blast.

The Wisconsin Panthers basketball team came and helped us serve our guests by pouring drinks, serving hot sauce, and helping to get trays for our guests who couldn’t get their own, either because they are disabled or because they are too young to go through the line. One of the players brought his own little boy to the evening and he followed his dad around the whole evening.
